11. Elevating advertising with “profanity”

No matter how old you are or what social class you belong to, there is always room for ten-year-old boy humor. DraftFCB has used this universal truth to spark a series of almost inappropriate commercials for Kmart

It’s nice to see the industry blending advertising with crude humor. The way I see it, if I have to watch commercials for Kmart, the least they could do is make me laugh. And what could be better than a little kid who blurts out pseudo-profanities on TV?

The first one went viral on Youtube, and was such a hit that DraftFCB already made a sequel:

Makes me chuckle every time. Since when did Kmart get edgy?
